Generate a Usage Report

The Reports tab (admin-only) rolls up fleet usage for chargeback, capacity planning, or handing a customer an activity summary — Compute, Network, and Storage, with CSV export.

Quick steps

  1. Reports.
  2. Report type:
  3. Compute — vCPU/RAM/VM-count usage over a time range, from the same sampled telemetry history the Monitor tabs use.
  4. Network — traffic/throughput usage over a time range.
  5. Storage — a current capacity snapshot, not a time range (see note below).
  6. Group by — Fleet, Datacenter, Cluster, Host, Tenant, or VM (VM grouping isn't available for Storage reports — usage isn't tracked per-VM).
  7. Scope — narrow to a specific datacenter/cluster/host/tenant, or leave All (Fleet-wide).
  8. For Compute/Network, set a start and end date/time — capped at 30 days per run (matches telemetry retention).
  9. Run, then Download CSV to export the exact table shown.

Why Storage reports have no date range

Only LINSTOR pools get historical capacity sampling today. ZFS/NFS/Ceph capacity is always queried live, not persisted over time — so a Storage report is always "capacity right now," not a trend. Requesting a start/end on a Storage report is rejected.
